nipplecharms Nipple jewelry can be so exciting. The younger boys and girls typically wear piercing jewelry as an expression of their self confidence. It is hip, fun, sexy, and for the girls, something to show off to the boys if the boys are lucky enough to get a peek. 10/18/2009

Freely express your love for cats and make a fashion statement with your cat jewelry.

One day I came home from school and found my roommate relaxed on the couch with a tiny little creature bundled in her arms. Hoping it was just a stuffed animal, I soon realized it was a live kitten. Not an avid fan of cats, I reminded her of our landlord’s policy of no pets in the condo. She insisted that she would keep her kitten in her room, or out on the patio while she was out. I reluctantly gave in and tolerated the kitten’s presence, but made it known that I couldn’t stand to have a cat living in the condo.

Looking back on this unfavorable living situation, I laugh now to realize that years have passed, and only was I reminded of that cat when I came across some cat jewelry at a store showcase. When I viewed the various designs of cat jewelry in necklaces, pendants, and bracelets, I thought of my cat lover roommate. Could we have made a compromise, giving the cat a new home, and getting my roommate some cat jewelry? If I could have gone back to that situation, I would have convinced my roommate that cat jewelry is a much better alternative than taking care of a real one. Here is why.

Cat jewelry doesn’t give you allergies: Some people are just allergic to cats, or they say they are because it’s a relevant excuse to get rid of them. Some may be more partial to other animals like dogs. Especially if you’re in a roommate situation, having cats in the home is not accommodating if others are allergic. Be considerate of your roommates and resort to your love for cats by wearing jewelry.

Cat jewelry doesn’t require maintenance: Compared to most animals, cats are pretty low maintenance when it comes to taking care of them. However, when you are very busy, an extra duty to tend to your cat can be tiresome. With cat jewelry, the only maintenance appreciated, but not required, is to have a jewelry box to store all of your jewels. For college students, your living situation is mobile, which doesn’t give your cat a stable home.

Cat jewelry is a pretty accessory: Celebrating your love for cats can be displayed in various designs of necklaces, bracelets, pendants, earrings and rings. Wearing your cat jewelry is an expression of your love for the animal. In public places where you are prohibited from having animals around, you won’t be condoned for sporting around your cat accessories. For this reason, freely express your love for cats and make a fashion statement with your cat jewelry.

Comparing cats to cat jewelry might be like comparing apples to oranges- you can’t really compare the pros and cons, they are just different. But when it comes to the consideration of other people, like roommates, opt for cat jewelry to avoid the disagreements and confrontation.

Harris Michael Jewelry’s collection of cat jewelry makes up just a small part of any even more extensive collection of animal jewelry.

Festival time is upon us again and, alongside worrying about having enough tent pegs – or getting a tent in the first place – you may be considering what your festival wardrobe is going to contain this year. There are a few tips that you’ll be grateful for during the festival, the key one being to pack as lightly as you can. You can spend a lot of time walking to the campsite and hoisting heavy bags and tents along with your food and drink for the weekend can be a strenuous task.

However, you do have to take clothes – though some may disagree – so here are a few items that should be on your essential list. Naturally, clean underwear, including spares, is a must. As well as this, a spare pair of jeans, shorts or trousers could come in handy if the rain decides to soak everybody through and you find yourself trying to dry clothes over a camp fire.

You’ll also need fresh T-shirts to change into every day. It’s no secret that festivals can be hot during the day and even hotter at night, what with crowds packing into stage areas to dance to their favourite bands – and showers can be hard to come by. So bring plenty of clean T-shirts that’ll ensure you both look and smell good. What’s more, the right T-shirts could see you making some new friends too.

Lots of people are open to making new friends at festivals. The atmosphere is happy, friendly and full of music-lovers looking to connect and, with an eye-catching T-shirt on, you could find yourself getting approached by plenty of new pals.

Having something people can relate to on your T-shirt, like a retro cartoon T-shirt or something quirky or funny, makes it a lot easier for people to start up a conversation with you. For example, if you’ve plumped for a Batman T-shirt to proudly display your affection for the caped crusader, you could find yourself conversing with strangers about the latest Batman flick – or arguing that the dark knight is absolutely better than Superman.

This could lead on to other topics and the discovery that you have something more than just a mutual like/dislike for something. Perhaps you’re going to see the same bands and are sleeping in the same campsites, meaning you could arrange to meet later to get to know one another better.

Festivals are a fantastic place to meet new people and wearing interesting T-shirts is just one of the way to grab some attention – so pick a few of your favourites and get ready to find some great new friends.

British actress Rosamund Pike has angrily dismissed suggestions moviemaker Joe Wright called off their wedding because she turned into a bridezilla, insisting she never had any plans for a “fairytale” ceremony.

The couple, together for four years, became engaged in 2008 and planned to marry last summer but the Atonement director dumped his partner just weeks before they were due to walk down the aisle.

Pike has previously insisted she had no idea why Wright terminated their relationship so suddenly and she’s angry about speculation it was down to her bride-to-be behaviour.

She tells Britain’s The Times, “All this stuff about organizing flowers and cakes! It’s like, no way. The truth is that I hadn’t even tried on a f**king wedding dress.

“When you’re an actress you’ve so many chances to do the fairytale thing. For me it wasn’t about the wedding at all, it was about the marriage. I was really interested in marriage, and what it means, and what one promises. I take that very seriously.

“Naturally I’d rather not be thought of as bridezilla, but apart from that I care less and less about what people think.”

Pike leaped from British television roles to the 2002 James Bond film “Die Another Day” and appears in the forthcoming “Barney’s
